X Factor stars John and Edward are set to feature in Season 22.

The producers are “taking a look” at the brothers and say that their haystyle fits in next to other hairstyles like Marge’s.

A spokesperson stated: “We are taking a look at the boys. We love anything Irish – we set a whole show there last year. They are certainly charming and good-looking fellows.” It’s look like one half is up for it, with Eddie saying: “We would love to be on The Simpsons. John, Edward and The Simpsons – we’re best friends with Bart!”

They would be the second one of Simon Cowell’s proteges to feature after Britain’s Got Talent star Susan Boyle, and that’s not all supermodel Carli Bruni is also set to feature next season.

Fox have announced the winner of their recent Create a character contest, in which fans from the USA were griven the chance to create their very own character which would then make an appearance in an episode of the series.

The character they’ve chosen is from Peggy Black of Orange County, California. She created the character Ricardo Bomba (nicknamed “La Bomba”), a smooth-talking ladies’ man from South America with a luxurious black mane, a chiseled physique and a voice as smooth as silk. By day, Ricardo works as a safety inspector at the nuclear power plant, and by night, he works Springfield’s singles scene – melting women’s hearts all over town. As the grand prize winner, Black won a trip to Los Angeles where she met with Simpsons producers and animators and worked with the team to bring Ricardo Bomba to life.

“La Bomba” will appear in the all new episode “Million Dollar Maybe”, which airs January 21st:

Homer blows off a date with Marge to buy a lottery ticket. When Homer wins the million-dollar jackpot, he fears how Marge will react when she finds out why he missed their date. Homer keeps his newly inherited fortune a secret, and instead spoils his family with “anonymous” gifts. When Bart finds out, he gives Homer a lesson in looking out for number one. Additionally, Chris Martin of Coldplay makes a guest voice appearance as himself in the episode.

Homer Simpson’s favorite beer, Duff, has always been a brand every brewery with an eye for business would like to have in their catalogue. In the past the South Australian Brewing company produced Duff beer up to mid-1996 when Fox successfully sued the brewery, forcing them to cease its manufacture. The Duff beer cans became a hot collector’s item among fans of The Simpsons, even if the label looked quite different to the one on The Simpsons. In 2001, a family-owned brewery in Dunedin, New Zealand, was approached by lawyers demanding that they cease and desist all production of their “Duffs” brand alcoholic beverage. In complying with Fox’s wishes, the Duff family rebranded their beverage “McDuffs.”

It is believed that Matt Groening has never allowed licensing Duff beer over concern that it would encourage kids to drink. However, recently bottles and six packs of Duff Beer have been available in several European countries, including Spain, Italy, Germany and Belgium, where – according to the label of a bottle purchased in Italy – the beer is being brewed. However, no mention of Duff beer can be found on the company’s web site. Adding to the mystery, the site promoting Duff beer in Europe, duffeurope.com, is no longer available, while its sister sites duffitalia.it and duff-bier.de are still online. According to the German site, the local manufacturer is Eschweger Klosterbrauerei, but no information on this particular product can be found on their site either.

In conclusion, at this point it is unknown to us whether this version of Duff beer, the label of which is this time very similar to the one on The Simpsons, is still manufactured or not. We only know by experience that you may be able to find it in little shops selling alcoholic beverages in Europe. Since there is no mention of Fox, The Simpsons or Matt Groening on the label, we can only assume that the product is not endorsed by them. So don’t be surprised if it suddenly disappears from the market…

This one change brings on lots of little other changes, including more control over the look of the site, but instead of telling you, we will let you find what makes this Simpsonise version way better than all previous updates.

We are hoping to get a lot of new content because as you know our site is lacking. Any content donations would be well appericated. We know we ain’t moved all the content over from the old version and there is a reason for that, the reason being we want to improve this as we go along. The content will be all fully added in the coming weeks.

We are still working on fixing faults like: getting the Featured Posts thing to work, fixing the Comments problem (it looks real messy if you ain’t noticed), etc., as well as others which may occur in the future.

Our annual Halloween special aired last night and recieved 8.59m viewers beating all other Animation Domination shows that night.

It smashed a Family Guy repeat with 8.24m, as well as a new Cleveland Show episode had 7.75m and finally American Dad’s new episode 6.20m.

It had way better viewers than previous years. Fans reactions seems to be slipt between “good” and “awesome”.

Today FOX launches the third contest for the 20th Anniversairy. You can make your friends yellow with envy as you become Simpsonised and feature in a Season 21 episode. To enter people must upload videos to TheSimpsons.com that are “pithy and funny” and “it’s gotta be a human being” said Al Jean.

The winner gets a trip to Los Angeles to work with producers and the show’s animation director. The top entry will be announced in mid-November. Entries are expected to describe the character’s traits, including his or her name or nickname; age; appearance; occupation and catch phrases.

So go to your room, say “d’oh” a bit and come up with a sweet idea.

The proposed character should have a typical “Simpsons” overbite and be yellow or another hue found in the Springfield universe, he said. “The contest is a tip of the hat to fans”, Jean said.

“We can’t thank them enough,” he said. “We’re now in uncharted waters: We’ve gone longer than any scripted show in prime-time history. It’s a cliche, but it wouldn’t be so except for these people who’ve loved the show all these years.” The contest’s winning character, to be drawn by series animators, has a reserved spot in the episode in which Homer disappoints wife Marge by arriving late at a wedding after stopping to buy a lottery ticket.

He encounters the new face while rushing to the ceremony, Jean said, adding that it’s possible the character could pop up on the series again. The competition will close on 24 October so entries need to be in quick.

Alex was 10 when he was rescued by best friend Aiden Bateman after he choked on a sandwich. He was struggling for breath and had turned purple as dinner ladies patted him on the back in a vain bid to dislodge the offending sandwich.

But his friend then performed the Heimlich Manoeuvre he had seen the technique performed on The Simpson’s third season episode “Homer at the Bat”.

Now Aiden’s heroics, which were performed in the canteen at Crofton Junior School, in Wakefield, in December 2007 are to feature in new film ‘The Simpsons Anniversary Special In 3D! On Ice!’, to mark next year’s Simpson’s 20th anniversary celebrations.

American documentary filmmaker Morgan Spurlock travelled from New York to Wakefield in August to meet the two friends and film a re-creation of the life-saving moment in the canteen at nearby Thornes Park College.

Spurlock, who was behind “Supersize Me” and “Where in the World Is Osama Bin Laden”, was commissioned by Simpsons creator Matt Groening to make a film documenting how the Simpsons has affected people’s lives across the globe.

It will be screened in America in January before being rolled out in the UK and across the globe.

Aiden, now 12, stepped in after recalling the episode when Homer chokes on a donut at a softball game while a poster explaining how the Heimlich Manoeuvre works is on the wall behind him.

Alex, also 12, of Pontefract, West Yorks, said: “I remember everything slowing down and I heard Aiden shouting that I was choking. Aiden picked me up and performed the Heimlich Manoeuvre and the sandwich just popped out of my mouth.”

He added: “I was surprised they wanted to film it. Having to pretend I was choking for the film wasn’t very nice, but it’s great that we will be part of the Simpsons 20th anniversary celebrations, I’m still a fan.”

“We really wanted to dive in and find the interesting people, the interesting stories, the things that are a little more than just a typical ‘look how great we are’ kind of special,” he said. “And so, for me, that’s why I’m really trying to root it in the fans and the people who kept this show on the air for the last 20 years.

“I think it’s important to hear how people have been affected.”

Here’s the afternath for the episode The Great Wife Hope. I could of posted this yesterday but I did not have all the information then.

The episode recieved 7.55m viewers and Fever said it was one of the best episodes this year. The other Animation Domination shows all had higher than than The Great Wife Hope apart from one.

Family Guy’s  Spies Reminiscent of Us had 8.80m, American Dad’s Home Adrone had 7.70m and Cleveland Show’s The One About Friends had 7.78m.

So it’s up to Treehouse Of Horror XX to beat Family Guy and Cleveland Show next week.
